T’u is the new project of Emanuel Wildeisen, Simon Boss and Jonas Albrecht. Coming from an academic jazz background and out of an experimental music making practice in various projects, the trio’s debut album «Nektar» collects five songs that were recorded in January 2019 at the A-Studio of Rytmisk Musikkonservatorium in Copenhagen. The tracks reach out over an excessive 40 minutes, thus paying clear tribute to the works of German experimental musicians from the 1970s, concluding in the 16 minutes of «cọng cỏ thi». Using a reduced set up (rhodes/synth, guitar, drums), T'u explore the classical themes of repetition, small alternation and evolving dynamics.
